This is a song I wrote a while back real quick just using a laptop along with its condenser microphone. I later went to the studio and recorded it properly. Try as I might though, my voice kept being, well, my voice. Fast forward until recently when I had the voice of Carly Walker take my place and do it some justice.

So I was told by one of my Twitter followers about some interesting open license music software (DAW, Sequencer, Mixer) that his “genius son” created. Whenever my Dad said that his “genius son” did something, it was him being sarcastic. But apparently this guy actually has a genius son who did something amazing.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen something like this done on a *nix platform, and having to compile my own binaries took me back to my college days. Only thing that was missing was my being a drink away from being drunk and spending all my free time on a computer.
Never mind, it’s exactly like my college days.
