I rarely ask people to give money for anything. I’m more than happy to make an exception for this. You may have heard about Harry “Mike” Ainsworth, a father who was with his two sons when he heard a woman calling for help. She was being carjacked, and he tried to help her. The would-be carjacker shot him and fled. Mr. Ainsworth’s sons then went to his side and sat with him while he died on the street.
Since they don’t know who did it yet, I can’t raise money for the “Let’s pay a prison guard to beat and rape him” fund. Until then, a fund has been set up for the family of the man who died to try and help a stranger.
